1. Bold Wallpaper.
That’s right. Wallpaper is coming back. But the good news? There have been quite a few advances in wallpaper that will hopefully make it easier to remove when that time inevitably comes, including temporary wallpaper made for small spaces and rented homes!
2. Post Modern Furniture.
Bold couches, geometric details, and abstract artwork are all 80’s staples that are creeping back into style. Get ready for lush and extravagant decor showing up everywhere!
3. Archways.
Custom sculpted archways today may not be as dramatic as they once were, but the intricate detail is back and we love it!
4. Wood Accents.
Don’t worry, wood paneling is still long behind us in the 90s, but that doesn’t mean wood accents aren’t coming back! From feature walls to statement furniture, we’re about to see a lot more wood finishes in the near future!
5. Gold.
Gone are the days of silver and bronze. We’re excited for gold finishes to finally be making their way back into homes all over including door handles, knobs, faucets, and other details.
6. Color.
For the past decade, homes have been covered in white and gray for a very neutral style, but in 2022 we’re going to see a lot more color popping up in homes.
